Westham manager Slaven Bilic Resigns
SLAVEN BILIC said goodbye to the West Ham players after offering his resignation to the board, according to a club insider.
Twitter user @ExWHUemployee made the revelation this morning following the 3-0 loss to Brighton on Friday night.
And it seems Bilic offered his resignation to the West Ham board, and also said his farewells to the players, following their embarrassing 3-0 defeat to Newcastle late August.
However, the Hammers rejected his proposal because they didn't have a replacement lined up.
@ExWHUemployeee tweeted this morning: "Bilic said his goodbyes to the players after the result. Dont think he formally submitted a resignation though just offered."
And asked who would have replaced him if the board had accepted, he added: “I don’t think they would have had anyone of note, hence persuading Slav to carry on.”
